Sadness and Hope

3 weeks ago our community lost a boy to cancer on his 16th birthday. I have never witnesses such sadness as I did standing in line at his wake. Teenage boys with swollen, red eyes. Girls holding onto their friends. The whole week was such a eye opening experience. Enjoy every minute of your life. Life is too short for bickering and petty little problems.
In the days following this tragedy, I decided along with one of my friends to hold a scrapbooking crop to raise money for the foundation in his name. It will take place in August in a large hall locally. If anyone is reading this and would like to donate something to our gift auction, please contact me.
