Even more time passing by...

Wow...been so long. Life has been crazy busy..birthdays, planning a baby shower, sick kids, many many kids at my tiny house for a Egg Hunt. Some cabin fever thrown in there..But I am back, and I mean it this time!! LOL.

I am now a mom to a 3 year old and a 2 year old. For three weeks I was the mom of 2 two year olds. Life isn't dull, I can tell you that. Most days are a whirlwind. I am so looking forward to the laid back days of summer. We live minutes from the ocean and within walking distance from the bay. Last summer was alot of fun with my boys and I think this year will be even more so!

I will leave you with a website i found that i love

Struggle to Blog

I have tried and tried almost every night to write an entry. Three things always stop me...the total exaustion that comes at the end of the day, the 101 other things that need to be done and the biggie...what to blog about that people will really care enough to read. I havent blogged enough to have a following so who would read it anyway?!? Sometimes I feel like its just self importance to blog. But I started blogging because I loved to write when I was younger and always feel I have lost so much of myself. That being said...more than half of the blogs I read are about everyday things in peoples lives that I dont even know..so, why not right???

So, I will be starting a 7 days of Everyday Life which I have seen on many people blogs lately.

Today was just as much the same as every day. Got out for all of 20 minutes to take some photos. Tomorrow I hope to really get out and shoot alot more. So here are a couple of my cute feathered friends from today.

Also, If anyone stumbles upon this, please, tell me why you blog.

How long has it been??

Wow...far too long! A couple of my close friends are blogging now so I thought I better get back to it. Boring day today, snow...we are staying in!!
With the new year here I have been putting alot of thought in to stepping up my photography. I want to learn all I can, maybe take classes, maybe try the 365 thing again and stick with it this time!!! So I hope to share lots of photos on here soon!
Till later...

Summer was....

This has been such a great weekend so far, scrapping Friday night with friends, laughing does the body good. Creating..

Last night my oldest and I went to the craft store. It is amazing how quickly he is growing up. He is actually becoming pretty cool to hang out with.

Today just kinda hanging out so I decided to visit some of my favorite blogs, which is something I usually dont do on the weekends. Today, every blog I visit had a wonderful post or picture, mostly about the end of summer. It is such a bittersweet time. I love the carefree days of summer but also look forward to all the fun things autumn has to offer.. So today I leave you some of what summer was to us. Please leave a comment so I can check out your blog!

Remembering 9-11-01

I know its now the 15th, but I am so behind in everything since losing my hard drive. Living right across the bay from NYC, This day is always hard. The details of that day will always be etched in my mind. The smells, the sights, the emotions. On that day, I almost lost my best and oldest friend. On that day, the town I grew up in lost the most people in NJ. On that day, I realized my husband would be going to war. On that day, all of our lives changed.

My life is so different now than on that beautiful September day. My husband is home and out of the military. I have 2 beautiful boys. But I will never ever forget how I felt that day.

These are pictures from our towns memorial. The beam is actually steel from the WTC.
